Mud Sweat and Tears is offering this Edgefield jug for sale. The jug is attributed to Pottersville and is believed to be from around 1820 maybe a tad later. It has two cryptic looking marks at the base edge and is 14 inches tall or about a gallon in size. It has a double collared spout and an early ovoid shape and is somewhat heavy for its size. Condition: There is a v-shaped spider crack/hairline that goes about halfway around the mid section of the jug. This defect is quite stable but visible.
